Lunar New Year 2024 – Year of the Dragon

HILLTOWN — Hundreds of families turned out to the Pearl S. Buck Estate on February 10 to usher in the Year of the Dragon.

Co-hosted by Pearl S. Buck International and the Central Bucks Chinese-American Association, the Lunar New Year Cultural Celebration treated visitors to a range of dance performances, including the Dragon Dance, and musical performances, including a zither quartet and Peking opera, said a press release from Pearl S. Buck International.

Families in attendance also enjoyed dumpling tastings, trying on traditional clothing, a puppet show and storytelling, as well as crafts and activities such as Chinese calligraphy, making drums and fans and learning how to use chopsticks, said the release.
